I would just first like to point out that the names Velocity Shack , Velocityshack.co.uk and Velocityshack.com are owned by myself ,Graham Codling (grahamcuk) and are not involved with, affiliated to or other way connected to any company , person or body using the word Velocity in there name or title.
So this is how the song sheet will go......................... From prices will be posted ASAP...

Very shortly there with be available a new Turbo kit for the Blackbird.
Kits will be available for Carbie, early Fi and late model Fi and can be supplied as full kits or part by part and with or without turbo, so you can source your own new or second hand locally.
All kits will be built to order only and due to the number of option available across the model range will be spec’ed and price individually.
Any kit can be upgraded to the top spec by adding in the relevant parts.
The Kit will be sold in the US, Canada and South America though HankXXX, (my partner in this venture) and myself in the UK and EU.

Hank and I have been working on this for some time, Hank has worked with CP in the development of a Turbo spec piston for the Blackbird and combining them with the stock length Carrillo rods and the 0.075” Cometic head gasket or using the 2mm shorter rod with a stock thickness Cometic head gasket makes of a very robust bottom end.
Note: All kits will require a small amount of additional modifications to the bike at the time of fitting. Clear instruction will be give on what is required for each kit.
The turbo supplied with a kit will be adjusted for the application, kits supplied without a turbo will be supplied with instructions on how to clock and fit the unit.

Entry level Priced from TBA
A basic low pressure kit that will make around 180-190 bhp I will “not” require the fitting of a 0.075" head gasket. Can be supplied with an un-branded T25, Garrett T25 or the better GT2554R turbo, non-intercooled and running 4-5 psi of boost and should have almost no lag. Power commander supplied on Fi models
Supplied with clutch spring upgrade.

Fast road Priced from TBA
6- 10 psi kit. Will require the fitting of a 0.075" head gasket. (Supplied with kit). Can be supplied with an un-branded T25, Garrett T2554R turbo or GT2560R this setup is intercooled and will make around 190 – 250 bhp.
Supplied with clutch spring upgrade, lock up clutch supplied as an option. Power commander supplied on Fi models

Extreme Road / Race Priced from TBA
10 psi plus kit. Will require the fitting of CP Turbo spec piston and combining them with the stock length Carrillo rods and the 0.075” head gasket or using the 2mm shorter rod with a stock thickness head gasket. Kit can be supplied with Garrett GT2860r-2 turbo.
Lockup clutch supplied with kit
Note: The fitting of an extended Swingarm is recommended.

Please read and understand this:
Turbocharging any engine increases the stress on the motor, we have taken every care to tailor each level of kit and put in the safe guards for each level of kit. We except no responsibility for failure to fit the kit correctly , observe the safe guards or ride the bike within the limits set out for that level of kit which may result in damage to the motor, bike or rider. You have been warned!!!!
P.S we except no responsibility for how much fun you will have upsetting 14 and Busa owners

Will a well behaved, no drags, no track days, highly maintained Bird, 180,000 kms be any concern? I don't want to re-build my bike to install the "little boy" kit.

VelocityShack/ HEL performance Garrett oil feed and return, line and adaptor set.

Well you can go spend a fortune with another vendor or you can calm down and wait to hear what Graham has to say...
Entry level kit will be between $3000. and $4000. dollars...
That will come with a stainless steel header, not mild steel coated with ceramic...
Ask the other guys what they use...
Get your deposit ready...

The prototype I remember seeing had no holes in the fairing. Nothing at all to give away the fact that you're a very bad boy. Graham has even developed a splitter for those of us who want to keep the dual cans.

That question was answered right here.

Entry level kit will be between $3000 - $4000. ( ÂŁ2000 -ÂŁ2500) plus shipping. Carbie kits being closer to the 3 mark and Fi being closer to the 4 mark because of the addition of a higher pressure fuel pump, FPR, Power commander and differant plenum.
I am hope to be able to confirm " start from " by the end of play tomorrow, but to confirm a couple of other points.
The entry level low pressure kit that will make around 180-190 bhp. It will “not” require the fitting of a 0.075" head gasket. Supplied with the un-branded T25 or Garrett T2554R turbo as an upgated, is non-intercooled and running 4-5 psi of boost.
Power commander supplied on Fi models and supplied with clutch spring upgrade.
As pointed out by Shewie there is no cutting to any of the plactics.
This is a stealth / Sleeper look kit any Blackbird twin slip-on cans you already have will fit straight on ( it would technically be possible to run the OE Stock mufflers) . The kit can be upgaded to the "Fast road" kit at any time by fitting the head gastet, the intercooler or a water injection setup and a boost controler. It can also be upgaraded to the "Extreme" kit with the additional parts. All parts will be availible individually.

This is great to hear! I have a carbie bike, so upon installation it will need to be dialed in and tuned by someone competent with carb work. I assume my current 4-2-1 Yosh system can be mated as can OEM dual cans. Great to see it will be available in pieces.

If one opts for the T25 Unbranded Turbo and later decides to upgrade to Fast Road kit they would then have to get the Garrett T2554R correct thus the Entry Level option to get it right away I assume?

Will clutch spring upgrade be available for the carbie version as well?

It is only the tail peices ( Mufflers) that are used on the turbo kit the rest of the system is replace by the turbo header and exhaust link pipe.
The unbranded T25 will work fine with the fast road kit but will not spool up as fast as the GT2554R and not make as much power at top end.
Yes both Fi and Carbie come with the spring upgrade.

Here's my question concerning door #1. How long do you think it would take for a well trained tech to do this install? Take off the necessary parts and install the kit. I'm not interested in suggestions of "it's easy to do yourself" or the like. It's one think to shell out for the kit but it's another for installation including a dyno. This is a added cost and one I must factor in.

A very good question ... Thankyou... IMHO a good tech should get the entry level kit fitted in 12 -14 hour ( there being a little more work on the Fi over the carbie) Personaly I think I could do it in 8-10 hours but then it's my kit and I know a little bit about Blackbirds.
As for setup and tuning that would be down to how good you guy is. The basic setup information that comes with the kits will get you well in the ball park.

Thanks Graham, it's the info I was dreading. Cheers I hate the thought of being retired and getting a p/t job. Back to the Lotto.

That will depend to great extent on which turbo was installed Ball bearing would spool up almost straight away. T25 oil float bearing 3-4 k rpm
