Hi all. Quick query. I have noticed that recently my starter switch has a slight hesitation before it kicks the engine over and on. I tend to turn off the engine when I am at long stop lights ( to reduce heat and unnecessary fuel burn) and when I restart there seems to be a sense in which after I press the starter button there is like a hal second linkage delay. Should I be concerned and if so why and what should I do.

Thanks in advance

I'd suggest is to try the simplest possibility first: take the RHS switch block apart and give the starter button contacts a good clean - could be a dodgy contact.

Put a towel under and around it. There's itty bitty springs and ball bearings that will launch to the most inopportune places when your not looking.

Be vewy vewy careful😬
