Woohoo you've started!
Yeth! Got TONS of work to do! With the advent of covid things may take much longer than expected unfortunately... Spent time reading "Making The Duck" wow! What an incredible job! In fact purchased a digital copy of 2021 issue of "Practical sportsbikes" of the Duck build. After reading most of the 50 plus pages I think I'll give anodizing a whirl! So stay tuned! will have plenty of pics AND hope yur doing well!

ADDED PICS HERE TO KEEP THEM ON PAGE ONE.

Baking soda and crazy glue base...

Are you going 1200 rebore and turbos/ supercharger too like The Duck?

I've been slowly plugging away at my projects.

The quick release on the Corbin Beetle Bags is done and working well.
The Bandit SW Motech alu rack for the top box including hidden wiring to the givi top box brake lights also done (means corbin lids clear the wide top box whereas they don't with the BB specific alu rack).
The givi/ corbin one key is working but not sweetly enough so more key barrel research needed there to do.
Rear indicators are now black lensed with "flowing" leds. Front I've got the parts for but yet to build the internal module.
Rear brake light lens gone black and LED.
Scottoiler touring reservoir fitted behind numberplate.
Got my AmpLink PDM so now awaiting my SH847 RR before I risk my new LiFePo (with built in jump start). We'll not yet ordered… post Xmas cash flow needs pacing esp as about to become a father again (woohoo).
Jaws bar riser went in but I'd be keen to see pics of your Triumph bars once fitted.
Very pleased with my wing crash bungs. They've proved resilient so far esp with the new fairing kit fully in place.
Battery status now not only on Bluetooth but also wifi enabled so I know status even in the deepest recesses of the house.
Waterproof SAE battery tender socket fitted into the tail in mirror position to the seat release so most of my charging issues are unlikely to reoccur (so long as I plug it in… auto-retractable lead with hole through house wall yet to do but remote on/off and auto charging times all complete).
Plastic tank cover installed with givi tank bag locking ring (polished and kacquered fuel cap).
Front flowing indicators, cruise control,.dashboard mods and power folding mirrors are my next projects to focus on finishing.

One day I'll have to do a full photo show of my mods in the same way you record all your fab endeavors.

Oh I do like the meticulous laying out and labelling, man after my own heart.
Thanks for your comments on my build.
Couple of things anodising is easy / pain in the a..e. Ask @adeyren he has been experimenting recently.
If you fancy anodising you might fancy re-plating bolts/fittings as well, I've had very good results zinc/nickel plating 'stuff' on my projects.
Both anodising (assuming existing parts not freshly machined aluminium) and re-plating are helped no end if you have a blast cabinet.

Interesting… I spotted Adeyrns black peg hangers, and wondered if he'd painted v powder coated v anodised etc them. A mate has a blast cabinet and I have a spare set of hangers bought purposely to blacken. When lockdown lifts the blast cabinet awaits.

@adeyren you got your ears on mate?

If I had a choice I would go the super charged route! With big bore, titanium parts for top end of the engine, electrical and other do dads! That's a minimum of 10K to 15K investment! Not quite there yet! Lololo

Would LOVE to see some pics of yur quick release system for yur beetle bags! Is the SH847 better than the FH020AA? Haven't purchased my RR or stator yet.

Hey! CONGRATS! On you becoming "New" a dad again!! Wonderful news!

Will have pics of "new" triumph bars once powder coated OR anodized...

And again would LOVE to see pics of yur wings! Oh! forgot to add plastic tank cover to my list!

Can't wait to see those folding mirrors! 😎 As usual LOVE yur projects. Very inspiring!

Thank YOU for the compliment! Unfortunately already painted bolts! BUT something definitely to consider! Only reason I'm thinking of anodizing parts was because of YOUR amazing build! Yep! Have access to blast cabinet.
Thanks re congratz… bun is in oven… baby boy due in May so only expectant dad-to-be at this stage.

Lot writren on the RRs. I tried to summarise what I'd gleaned from the forum here in my own thread:

FH020AA is mosfet technology which smooths the dissipation of surplus power (converted to heat) more effectively than the stock stator which is very binary (so overall runs cooler). However it is still drawing 100% available current from the stator 100% of the time.

The SH847 is made by the same folk but is more recent "series" technology and only draws current from the stator "on demand". So less to be wasted as heat and everything inc stator apparently runs cooler.

It's a bit bulkier and more expensive but those that have fitted it (both carbie and FIs, both right and left hand side) sing it's praises. Jack in the states supplies them inc all wiring, breaker and connectors if wished.

Gotcha! Thanks mate!
For pics of my winged crash bungs/ sliders see:
Okay! So I did see them! Forgot! Lololol Thanks again mate! Noice job. My wings still need work but will post pics of progress.
Later in that thread there's photos with the fairing off showing the dog-leg staggered bolt set up and the spacers used.
