Lololol Yep! Tons of work to do! And with this lockdown, may not be able to powder coat certain parts until April or May! Phrak! 🤔 😣 More potential delays... However, I'm dedicated to the cause!

Where'd you get your pre-formed vent grill meshes from? I've stalled making mine as the stainless steel mesh I bought turned out to ve anything but stainless and rusted immediately!

Remember too not to use mesh on the front nose air vents if this projevt bike is an FI (you list Booster plug instead of a Power Commander). The carbies can take it but they FIs are ram air and the mesh is reported as messing up the airflow too much causing problems.

Got them from Fleebay! BUT U can also score them from JAWS IF they have any more left! You can always use "stainless steel" BUT coat them with a clear coat to protect them like I did for my last makeover...
Oh! Really? Never had any problems with air flow... None that I can perceive, that being said will be watching closely now that U mentioned it. Thanks man! Also, hope yur doing well!

Hi,
You plan to have "switchback LED" signal lights?
I tried to add LED 12V5W bulds and even some smart LED but didn´t work.
It starts blinking as if one lamp was faulty. Do we need to get messy with a soldiering iron and some electrical parts?

You need to put in a flasher module made for LEDS as the voltage from the OEM flasher is to hi for LEDS.

These are what XXGUY is referring to...

130800

However, those plastic connectors are garbage! sometimes they don't cut through enuff, so I hard wire with shrink rap for guaranteed good connection... These resistors must be used for all LED installs on yur XX. Fleebay, Amazon, wish etc...

Resisters will work but I like Plug n Play. Replace the actual flasher relay.
Something like this. Found it in about a 20 second search of the internet.

I see some for 97 Birds that say 4 pin and others that are two pin connectors. Are carbie bikes 4 pin connectors and FI bikes 2 pin?
Anyway... all sorts on ebay, Amazon, etc.

Gotcha! However, better than the alternative! NEVER seen them this cheap though... Even the plastic tank cover is really cheap! This place is a "Saver" for other stuff...

Not wishing to p155 on the party but if you look at one of the photos they are only cut and bent pieces of aluminium mesh (I like the description 'chrome polished aluminium') a quick google says I could buy a sheet of the mesh, cut my own and have plenty spare for that price. OK I like to 'make stuff' so a decent price if you are not handy with the tools but taxes would be the killer bringing them to the UK.

Just fleabay sets. First were:
CREE H7 2000W 320000LM 4-Sided LED Headlight Kit High Low Light Bulb 6000K Car | eBay

Which were £14 for the pair. While performance was great I didn't like their red metalwork so bought this set:
130822

Which are the pair in the photos but are no longer on the bay. Quick search on 4 sided H7 leds in the bay throws up plenty of options. I went the highest lumen out at the time and colour temp 6000k to match my DRLs.
