running on 1 and 3

hi all, new to the Blackbird, have various BMW’s and a gen 1 Hayabusa. This Blackbird was stood since 2011 in a garage, got it running nice after tank de rust and carb clean however all of a sudden (return from holiday) it only wants to run on 1 and 3. All plugs sparking, fuel in the bowls, any ideas please before I start going ALL IN. thx.

You may get a spark in the air but not necessarily a good one inside the cylinder under pressure.
Switch the ignition coils left and right to see if the problem follows the coil.

As I understand it the left coil fires 1 and 4 and the right 2 and 3 so on that basis both coils are working as number 1 and 3 are running.

As you have covered the basics ( spark on all 4 and fuel in the bowls )
My next port of call would be blocked jets

I'd second blocked jets. Try popping some starting fluid it the intake box to see if it picks up the other 2. If it does then one less path to chase down. Affirming CBR's thought as to your problem.

Bind sitting that long I would change the fuel pump for sure🏍

One thing at a time.....carbs are notorious for blockages especially after a rusty tank fix. Check for cv diaphragms leaks too, after all, BB is not young anymore.

Carb bikes do not have a fuel pump.
