Hi Guys
Im Here with another question
How much oil should be inside your stator cover
I have removed my cover and stator ans there was very very little oil inside
If there is only a small amount how does it get there and how does it know when to stop
I know this may sound a bit wacky but i dont want to overlook or assume anything here
again guys thanks

There is an oil jet that sprays a metered amount of oil on the stator to help cool it. Then it drains back into the crankcase.

What you found Spikey is correct. When you remove the cover there will be a few drops in there but very little. As beestoys has said oil sprays on and drains out.

Hi Guys
I thought this is what you may tell me but when i removed the cover and very little oil there i had heard people say that their new stator was running cooler i thought maybe this casing should be full of oil in order to cool the stator and because i had very little this may have been the answer to my cooked stator, just checking before i fit the new one
got the new RR from roadstercycle fitted just waiting for new stator to arrived.
Again Guys thanks
