If you're a racer, or a fast track-dayer, you'll know what it takes to bring "sticky" tyres up to optimum performance temperature.

If you're a road rider, you'll know that it can take up to one hundred miles (in medium/high weather temperatures) to get rid of the releasing agents in the tyres.

After that, tyre performace becomes more "predictable".

Either way, take it steady.

Strawberry jam is sticky, too.

Don't end up looking like strawberry jam 😎

Road 6 are the best tires for a Bird, hands down, and I used all major brands of tires on my Bird(s).

Confidence inspiring, sticky, last long ... what else one can ask for ?!?

Tip in and mid course correction. Are also my concerns. I've ran up the PR4's until I tried the Bridgestone T30, 31 and 32's. It was night and day difference in the above component that keeps me with the T's. If the 6 matches these I'd go back to Michelin.

Hey Bees,

I've used PRs for years and had a great run with Continental Road Attack 3's. I've just put a set of RA 4's on and I love them, but haven't taken them outside of town yet. I'm hoping to get a better run on them this weekend. The only trouble I've had with either the Michellin or the Contentinental tires' handling mid-corner is when I've gotten up around 20,000km (12,000 miles) on them, commuting and touring, and they start getting a little square.

I'm keen to hear how the 6's hold up--maybe I'll try my luck with Michellin next time if they're that good.

Interested in seeing how these go. I have just bought a pair of Bridgestone T32's. I hope they live up to the standard previous Bridgies I have run.

I think you'll be pleased. I typically got 5,000 before they table top on me here. 12,000 to 15,000 before the rear is done and about 20,000 on the fronts.
The amazing thing to me was how easily they tip in. So be a bit cautious the first couple times.
As for holding power I've found them right up there with the 5's I replaced them for.
All new tyres are nice. Old tyres have worn profiles and compounds that have aged/hardened.

I have R6 on my Ducati (y) .
Any road feel updates?
Most every Michelin I have bought has been better than my riding abillity.

Well can't say that for the 4 and 5's I had. But heard they may have changed the profile. Hence my inquiry as to how it tips in.

It depends .. it's winter in Australia ATM.
I still would like to know if they tip in faster than a PR4 or 5
Just spooning on a set today before a 3,000 mile ride...leaving Friday! They certainly lean towards a sport profile visually compared to the 5's so I'll just assume that turn-in will be greatly improved! I'll report back after the ride...
-cheers
