20 year old bird...a little rust nside the ignition barrel. The red cable should be attached behind the other red one. Got to love my mechanic! More ££ but she's well worth it

That can be caused when people forget to replace the zip tie that fastens the cable to the ign lock.
The cable is free to flex and the flex point becomes the soldered joints.
Make sure - after the repair - that the zip tie is replaced to stop flex on the soldered joints.
