Might just try the bungee trick with the full cover. While true that any cover would take flight in high wind, both half-covers I tested had straps that looped around the foot pegs, to maintain it in place. While the first cover didn’t go completely airborne, the fit left little room for overhang, and was very taught when first installed. Because It didn’t overhang the tail (but had plenty of grip under the nose, it flapped like a flag adter coming loose from the tail end.
