Gents my other thread has me discovering and repairing the leaking diaphram in the petcock assembly after re-assembly with new hoses etc, it seems like possibly the fuel joints are leaking...........maybe the o-rings in there?
I did not jerk them around or anything while changing hoses but did move em up and down a bit.
The hoses have been off and on over the years to replace air filter etc but no other movement.
Ha anyone else ever replaced these?
How much disassembly is required to do this on the carbs?
I am really wierd about having any of my bikes or cars not up and running this will plague me until fixed please help.
Bees, can I load it on my trailer and drag it 1000 miles for you to look at it..........:smilebig: Please?

Sure can but what I'll suggest is to replace all the orings. Over time they shrink and in the 10% ethanol we all end up dealing with and it exacerbates the problem. Yes you'll loose your synch but it's easy enough to get back. If they are original Orings as I suspect then you do for a overhaul.

I did this in winter.. You have to split the carbs.. it is not so dramatic. Watch out only for the small springs.
Consider to do a full rebuild, when you will split them already.. There is a full rebuold kit on ebay. But the O-rings you need are missing - Partzilla helps

Sent you a replay but the pic got whacked trying to message it. So here it is again. The 4 you'll need to replace are connected to the bigger rubber lines. You'll have to break the rack up, it's not bad really work on a towel so the springs won't bounce off into oblivion on you.

YIKES on the overhaul.............Synch tool looks to be $150 for a good one
Dayum I am thinking maybe just get it rolling for the summer and then tear it down in late fall to go through em for a rebuild, what are your thoughts.

Well you could always ride or trailer it here. I have the synch tool. If course then we'll have to put a few test miles on it. There's 4 good loops here that'll give you a good idea of it's capablities.
