Hi there I’m new here . I bought cbr1100xx few weeks ago. Bike has problem with engine speed. It’s carb version. So when is cold start with choke ON is struggling with start engine , I need add throttle to start and keep adding constant until warm up engine. When engine is middle warm Engine working on 1800rpm . When temperature goes up neutral engine speed is 2500-3500. Also when is cold and I start ride . Is coughing or misfire. HELP PLEASE. What is this.

The choke system naturally adds throttle to help the bike run when cold.
Are you saying you have to add throttle to get it to start.
Middle warm its at 1800
Is that with the choke off?
2500 to 3500
Again is that with the choke on or off?

Having read this 3 x it would seem that the warm idle stop is set way too high , the fact its so far opem may affect the cold starting as not enough vacuum to make the cold start valves operate
The knob fot the idle adjustment is on the left side of the bike in a opeing just under the frame rail
Usually its stiff from lack of use ans the thread may need to be lubricated
Anticlockwise to decrease the idle speed
Usual warm idle speed ca 1200 rpm
I expect you may need to balance the carbs as well..
