Yes, I did see that in some videos. Generally, for Candy they seemed to use a silver primer.

If one had the equipment and money to experiment with creating custom colours it would be fun

My '06 Bird is "Iron Nail Silver Metallic" just as Jeremy's. But I've temporarily ripped blue dress off from '04 for '06. So there's bluish rim on the picture even though it's '06.

Apart from that, my co-worker (of sequential blinker production) is also riding on '06 Bird, and his label says "NH-463M" or "Darkness Black Metallic", but his real colour is "Titanium Metallic" in fact.

That is because, titan-coloured final limited edition Bird was sold by an importing motorbike dealer in Tokyo, announcing limited 100. But we're not sure that the final titan Bird sold so much as 100...? His plaque on the tank says "No.01/7". So there could be just 7 Birds sold as such, and his is the 1st among them... maybe...

And I saw an article somewhere in the internet telling such a final edition sold in Finland, having some special equipments...
