Hi guys, I have only recently purchased an 04 bird with approx 110,000kms. I don't believe that much has been done to the suspension by its previous owners. I was wondering if anyone has tried the CBR1000RR rear shock as an upgrade option? I apologise if this thread already exists.

Just fitted a DMr CBR954 modded shock. Only rode the bike into the office today but what a difference! Serious bang for buck and Jamie sources the used shock, rebuilds, revalves and resprings it for you.

$420. I got the cartridge kit at the same time. IIRC it was $1100 delivered to ZA.
