Hello,

which is better to have lower consumptions?

If I change the exhaust and air filter I need a power commander with the injection version or not?

With carbs I have no problem about mods, but the power commander is so expensive

Yes you will but the flip side is that is much easier to tune in all the areas needed as long as yo can map it. Carbs are the same to be honest. a good tune will require a map to see where it needs adjusting. the thing about the carbs is that changes are more general and some aftermarket kits can damage the carb needle guides. Bottom line I your going to have to tune either system it just depends on your ability and comfort level along with parts availability.

If you just do exhaust on fi you can get away without pc. If you're chasing higher bhp, you're going to need more than filter and exhaust change to see any increase you'll notice so you'll need a Pc anyway.

Thank you for the answers....I love carbs and I know how to mod them, but the question is if the injection cbrxx have a lower consumption than the carbs.
How many km/l can do the two original versions? Because it is so important for long travel

Hey Plug Italy1100 Just my 2 cents here... Why hasn't anybody talked about "Power Plug?" I bought one after doing some research and it's ton's easier that Power Comm. You can install yourself in 20/30 min. The Power Plug uses the existing mapping and just basically adds fuel when needed, making the rather smidgen lean bird a bit richer when called for... Check it out! Unless someone has done so and has had a bad experience? Anyone? Better cheaper alternative? Yes! For some but perhaps not for the mech. maniac! Who will tune til it sings like Darth Vador!(God speed to those brothers!) I will post update of my experience with the Booster Plug in next couple of wks Plug Italy1100. That is if you haven't already bought your PC.

With a big Honda, you don't need more top end power, but the low end RPM range is less than perfect. Like all newer fuel injected bikes, the large capacity Hondas are running extremely lean, and the low end running is really suffering.
When you ride your motorcycle in the city or in hairpin corners you will feel the very hard throttle action where the throttle feels more like an on/off switch, and you need to apply some throttle to take off from standstill to avoid stalling the engine.
The lean mixture is to blame for these issues, and the only cure is to provide a small controlled fuel enrichment - and this is what the BoosterPlug does !
