Left hip was also broke but lined back up that one's going be natural healing. After I hit the ground and slide. I got ran over and dragged 30 to 40 ft under the car. But I'm here an healing. Never lost conscience through the entire ordeal.

Front fork shells found. I'll swap out all my internals so that I'll be back to a optimized neutral suspension.
Neurologist just gave me 100% on my spine. Time to work on stretching and strengthening now.

Just picked up a set of 2 brothers carbon slip ons. 2 brothers doesn't make systems for the BB anymore.
So I am picking up a set of Busa cans from the system they made for it. The plus is it's equipped with the VALE locking system they made for a short while. I'll have to fabricate my own headlines but I've done this before.
So one more piece of the puzzle. Going to call up Bellisimoto in Vegas and see if I can get some replacement parts for my Gilles bars. Or if I have to order a complete set. I'll also be checking a local builder to see I'd he can fab up a new radiator using my Cbr1000RR core as a pattern.

New front wheel is here. Ordered tubing and the sensor bung for the radiator. Just have to find someone that can mandrel bend 1 1/8 aluminum tubing. Had to have a 45 degree in The upper inlet for the remote water neck housing.

Got plenty plastic infills , headlight , twilight, Swingsrm, rear tail (98), trans cover , radiator for98. Just email or give call. 941-662-9935 I think a front fender maybe.

Well darn it.
Back in the hospital. Legs have been feeling heavy lately and I seem to be going backwards on my mobility. They did CT scan at local health care facility. They consulted with my neurologist and didn't like what they saw. So I got trucked to the trauma center for an MRI. They also took an X-ray of my left hip. So waiting on the results now.
Oh my bees, you’re in our prayers! Be well.

I'm back home. Nursing a blood clot in my left calf. Physical therapist also told me the heaviness is do to blood built up in my legs from not moving. So I'm using a cubii my wife got to work my legs for 5 minutes evert hour.
Thinking that should get me back on track.

Sounds good! A lot of riding in the future…or a lot riding on the future! 🤣. Keep it up, you’ll get there before you know it!
👍
wow, i'm sorry i'm late to this.

thanks for sharing your experiences here. a good reminder about the risks of doing what we all love. if you don't mind sharing your age? not sure that a young man would recover any faster, given the severity of the accident.

hopefully a little hospital humor can be appreciated, i'll try from memory as i can't find it;

guy wakes up in the hospital in severe pain.

the nurse tells him "you may not feel anything from the waist down".

he replies "could i feel your boobs then?"

i'm sure i speak for all of us, we're glad you're ok. this place wouldn't be the same without you!

Bugger!

Only just catching up on posts.

So sorry to hear of your off and the demise of your baby, but really pleased to read of your recover and rebuild plans. God speed and look forward to the both of you being back on the road before too long.
Bad news. My healing has taken a left turn. My left leg has been really acting up. I've landed back in the hospital with a infection in my hip joint. We caught it very early so we'll see what ortho says tomorrow.
I thank everyone to date for the we'll wishes.
