As @bikerian has said listen to your body you will find yourself feeling very tired very quickly ..... but I am a fine one to talk.
When I was due to start the strip down of the wrecked bike that was to become my supercharged Bird I managed to snap the tendon that runs over the top of the knuckle on my first finger right hand (repairing my van) ..... 3 months with the hand and forearm totally immobilised! I stripped the bike down to an engine in the frame with my left hand only.
I found a little 'bike time' at weekends sensible to keep my head straight.
On the wheel I wouldn't have it straightened. It could be done but in order to get the grain direction correct (correct strength) you would need a specific heating and cooling regime and the rim would need to be 'massaged' back into shape. Not an easy task, actually rather specialised and expensive. A new wheel is the way to go.
