New to this forum. I have been recommended by a long time bike mechanic to use Castrol GO 20w-40 for wet clutch motorcycles. I also live in a pretty hot climate - Philippines. Any inputs before I change the oil? currently using Castrol Power 4T.

i got a 1999 black bird from my uncle when he passed away, he never rode it and it only has 2,000 miles.
so i started with the fuel system to see if it would start at least, cleaned the injectors, new fuel pump...etc.
and bam what do you know...

It appeared after a minor self-service - oil and coolant change
I changed sprockets and chain - noise still there
Changed oil 10w-40 twice - noise still there

I've drained them both and had them hanging upside down for about 3 hours so far to drain the last drops out.
My question is this:
When fully drained should the plunger offer any resistance to movement in either direction?
