I just replaced my rear brake pads with OEM pads. On the subsequent test ride, I found that the new pads had little initial bite and required serious pedal pressure to produce any braking. Is this common and will it alleviate with break in?
If you had some higher performance pads in there, the stock pads may not show the same grip. Definitely break them in hard with repeated heat cycles and you may very well see an improvement.
the nissin pads are sintered and pressed glass smooth and require roughing up or burnishing for optimal bite
