    Maxton Shock

Anyone else running a Maxton Shock?
I got the bike with it already fitted.
im finding it a little harsh and from what i can see, there is only preload adjustment, no other screws etc to change damping.

Im coming from a bike(ZR7) with a Nitron shock which feels great

Is there not a damping adjuster collar on the bottom - just above the mounting eye ?

    I contacted Maxton.
You have to remove it from the bike then remove the spring to get at the adjuster. so not great and they are a big name brand here in the uk, they have been in racing etc for well over 45 years.
maybe that's the problem, its how they did their race shocks. the new version of this shock is like others with easy adjusters.
so im going to remove it and sell it. ill go for a Nitron like my other bike.
