Oil lock bolt - Copper sealing ring won't get out [solved]

    Hello,

me again, with another beginner question.
I'am doing the front forks (I bought Wilbers springs last week).

I started with the left fork. The oil lock bolt was way too tight, but got it loose with proper ratchet wrench, no impact wrench was needed.

My problem is, that copper sealing ring won't get out.
(For me, it looks also little bit to big, shouldn't it be little bit smaller?)

Anyway, do you have any suggestions, how can I get it out without scratching the forks sealing area ?

    Screw extractor drill bit ?
    Drill it with normal drill?
    Heat it?

    Thank you

Well done for getting that out Miroslav. Bit late with my solution but I use a piece of threaded bar, screw it into the washer (which is softer than the bar) and then pull it out.
Full of Hot air? Intercool yourself............ you know it makes sense
