I used an old pair of tights (not mine ziplex!!) wrapped around each pipe and rubbed like hell. Works a treat.

    Re: hi to everyone

Alternatively you could do this. My ones on the bike, ceramic coated. Lasts much longer and helps her keep cooler. The marks on them are grease marks.

Full system including the silencer was 220. Cleaned the block as much as i could, painted it and powder coated all the covers. Ive got some good carby oil pipes here if you need some. VGC from a carby i am breaking.. I will never use them.

    Re: hi to everyone

now thats a really good price for the amount out of work that gone into them and they look great ( i will have a look at there site ) , if you dont mind me asking what paint did you use for your engine ? adeyren i would really like to have them oil pipes off you , as you can tell im trying to get her working on a very tight budget ,( just about nothing ) thats why im trying to get the hoses made as favour to be payed back , but i will willingly buy the pipes off you , but im not sure if this would against the sites rules ( buy and sell ) im just new here and i dont want to upset anyone , but i would really like them pipes

What's the old saying... pipes go up, tights go down?
