    Hello and welcome
Route 191 formerly Route 666 Some say that this section of the

Oh that sounds so familiar, I've learn't most of my 'skills' with that approach, recently took up replating to help me sort out a project bike, very satisfying when it goes right.

    Re: hi to everyone

to right Duck, theres a few things i have found out how to do stuff that no one will tell you , like a nice tip iv been told about yesterday , i removed the exhaust and its in a pritty bad way " well thatys what i thought " somone has badly welded thelink pipe to the middle , my first thought was yup EBAY , i showed one of my mates , and he said hes got a mate who stainless weld a new cone in to sort it , and we had a chin wag how bad the headers are , and he said wait two mins , he came back with some green liquid and a pan scrubber and siad " watch this " put some on with an old toothbrush , as soon as it touched the pipes it reackted with all the old burnt stains , used the pan scrub and i cudnt belive my eyes , so now im going to have a good go at cleaning them back up so i asked WHATS THAT WERE DO YOU GET IT and its HARPIC MAX 10 and a normal brillo pad , so after my wheels thats my next job to see if i can save them
    thx dave

    Re: hi to everyone

Yep Harpic contain phosphoric acid (which is why it hits limescale), my preference is to use builders brick and mortar cleaner (cheaper than Harpic) which contains hydrochloric acid very good at cleaning up the stainless headers and link pipe (I don't use it on the cans for obvious reasons) ………… Perfect for getting baked on chain lube off.
