OEM all the way. They are the best you can get for an FI bird.
Good for up to 100,000klm if I recall.

    Re: plugs

The IMR9C9H are iridium oem specs but are pretty expensive now days - my local mechanic suggested using normal NGK CR9EH-9 for $24 a set and change them every 12,000kms instead of whatever the Iridiums cost...... last set I bought was $130 (set of 4) I think they are even more expensive nowdays, but they may be economical if you travel 20,000kms a year or more........ I wouldn't run them more than 45-50,000kms as they can go out of resistance specs and cause issues with the electrics. Similarly with batteries....... do a cold start load test to see if the cold cranking volts are below 9.5 and buy a new battery before the reg/rect or alternator coil crap out.

My 05BB has never had it's reg/rect replaced...... i just buy a new cheapie battery every 2 years when the ccv test tells me the battery is done for.

Same goes for valve clearances...... I don't bother with checks every 24k kms anymore..... but I change my oil (Motul 5100 10w50 mid strength full syn) every 6000kms instead of Honda's 12,000km interval. Only shim I ever replaced was at 114,000kms when my oem cam chain & tensioner started rattling..... the exhaust valve beside the cam chain was the only one that had closed up a little..... and my mechanic said it was still in spec but why not change it now and forget about it as the cam shafts were out for the cam chain....... so it's a little wider than spec but will eventually settle back and I can hardly hear the extra ticking anyway..... so it was a no brainer.

Great engine if looked after well....... oh nearly forgot....... don't run Honda's nanny state tyre pressures 42f 42r...... that's nuts........ BB likes 35/36f and 37/40 rear depending on load.

    Happy riding!

Agree about flea Bay prices and chinese copies....... just buy the NGK from your local shop or parts supplier.
