Re: instaling apex 4" risers
On an F1 they attach via nipple around the throttle body 'wheel'. I presume the same on cabys. After disconnection up at the bars follow the manual for taking them off. The throttle cables are one of the easier parts of this, my problem was a local supplier for the clutch and brake hoses who hadn't made them up with all the banjos aligned properly. I was in communication with HEL prior to that but they didnt finish an email chain concerning making just the extended front brake hose for me. Their website only lists full sets of hoses for the bird. So i used a local supplier. I should have persued HEL. The rest of the time was me just spending the odd hour or two free on it.
make sure you buy a new set of banjo washers for all hydraulics.
I made a cheap brake bleeder out of a lawn mower oil sucker. Worked wonders at a fraction of the price of bought vacumn pump for brakes.
