My clutch hose was dry rotted, and I was trying to disconnect it to have a new hose made. As you can see, it broke completely! How do I get the clamp off so I can put on a new hose? Help a guy out, and thanks!
The clutch line is one piece, hard line crimped to hose. Aftermarket has steel braided hose, you can order a new piece from the dealer, or get one from the many of us that have used parts available.
taking advantage of this topic, in my bb when the bike is hot it is no clutch. As it gets warmer the clutch gets high, high until it runs out and the bike is not moving. if I "bleed" the system (do not know how to say this in English) it returns to work. I think is just dirt and old fluid, which is blocking the return of the fluid (my bb was stopped years with the last owner). Anyone ever had this problem?
Tks
Bleed the system with a vacuum bleeder. Its sounds as though there might be air in your system, and as it warms it puts pressure on the clutch rod, making the clutch slip.
Using the vacuum bleeder -- don't be shy. Pump it up to 30-40 pounds.
