The oil switch creates a ground for the oil light if there is low enough pressure. The oil light should illuminate when key is 'ON'. Aside from low pressure, the wire to switch could be chafed and shorting to ground or the switch itself is bad. If you can't check pressure, disconnect wire and at switch and run bike to see if the problem still there. Also ground the wire to see if light is bright and nothing wrong in the cluster. Removing and cleaning the switch is a possibility but I never had any luck doing so with any oil switch. If good, you could call a 'hail mary' and replace the switch.

Thanks I'll try when I get home and see if that helps but my bike started to make clicking and whining sound before I was able to get it home I tryed leaning the bike side to side to see if that might have help the oil pump work a l little better and I'm not sure but I think the sound eased off and the sound was only really there if I was on the throttle any

If your reading this before you try getting it home. PARK IT DO NOT FIRE IT AGAIN. From what you have described I'm betting your oil levels to low and your bottom end may well be gone now. When and if it gets you home. Put it on the center stand and check the oil level. If you can't see a level on the stick then you need to get the level to between the marks, then your going to need to tee off the oil pressure switch location. Use a pressure gauge and see what you idle pressure is at idle. You want at least 10 lbs and if it's good and not making noise take it to 5000 and you should see 70 lbs. If either of these is low stop. Your going to have to drop the pan look for debris. If there is then the engines got to come out and the cases split. Chances are very high you have taken out the crank and rod bearings.

Oil was a little low drain all the old oil out and put all new in I think my oil keeps being contaminated by gas what else could cause that other than a bad fuel pressure regulator

FPR is the main reason but a hung injector can do the same. Is it running smooth at idle or is it ruff.

With the vacuum line closest to the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line unhooked I can control my idle speed and it idles good but with it connected it idles real low no matter what the screw is set on and it's rough

    Ok
So sounds like your running rich. So now shut it off check your oil. DO NOT FIRE IT UP AGAIN. Until you verify the oil is good. You also HAVE TO CHECK OIL PRESSURE before going any farther. I can't stress enough that anymore running with low oil pressure is DESTROYING the bottom end.
