Hi All,

I developed a bracket for the VFR800 that mounts to the triple tree and holds a usb charger and volt meter. I have had a lot of interest from the CBR1100XX community and it appears the bracket fits nearly identically on the VFR800.

Take a look at my product page on ebay if anyone is interested. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Honda-CBR11...ash=item1ce1f401be:g:Rm4AAOSwOFFeIOnu&vxp=mtr

If anyone is interested in the development history, check out the VFRD discussion board https://www.vfrdiscussion.com/index...-12v-power-outlet-plug-mountusb-mount/page/3/

Any questions, let me know!

Cheers

Hey, I'm quite positive the 1999 has a black key bezel around the lock cylinder, so this should work.

I have install instructions that are tailored to the VFR but its the identical procedure. I can email these to you if you'd like. Just PM me!

Also, noticed you're a fellow Canadian. I'm just north of Toronto, Ontario - if youre close by we can do a dry fit. Let me know!

Ah, dang! Well it was worth a shot asking nonetheless.

I have a PDF instruction manual, but really not sure how on earth to upload it to here. They are Tailored to the VFR800 (as this is what I own) but the installation should be nearly identical.

There are two #2 Philips screws that hold on the black key bezel ring. once removed you will place the bracket in its place and reinstall the key bezel ring right over top using the original screws.

The trickiest part is getting the screws out as they are often tight and in such an awkward spot.

Take a look below for the snippets I took from the PDF. I hope this helps! Cheers

Hello TriumphTraitor! I must ask because it's been perhaps an unnecessary concern... Once the accessory outlets have been installed can the wires for both be safely tied down? To prevent unnecessary movement? Or is some slack required? Thank you.

They are most likely JIS, considering it is a Japanese machine. I'm also pretty sure the have the JIS mark on the head - I just find most people are familiar with, and own Philips screwdrivers.
While using Philips in JIS is not ideal due to camout, it will work just fine for this application. I have installed 3 of these for some locals with no issues removing these screws.

The biggest difficulty is finding room for your hand.

Wow! Nice! Will be ordering one shortly! As far as I can tell, it will fit my 2001 BB.

Hi all

I just want to share my current build
I ordered the gauge and the cig. plug-in on ebay just waiting for it to arrive.

I've done the SH847 R/R upgrade, and also installed this "FZ1 Fuzeblocks"

The best part of the fuse box is that: there's a trigger wire I can tap into, and it'll turn on or off to all other accessories.

I wired my Oxford heated grip, and for the rest of the slot I'll wire the Volt-gauge and the cigarettes plug-in

In the end it'll work out nice.

that's a neat fuse box! I've never seen anything like that. Really keeps everything clean and organized. Look forward to seeing the full install!

Hi all

So I just finished installing all of the plug-ins today, it was really easy and straight forward.
I wanted to be future proof so went and got those "Type-C Charger" and "QC 3.0" quick charger plug,
So I'll be able to fast charge an iPhone or other Samsung device... and it looks great !!!

Another important things is to run at least 16 AWG wire, even better with 14 AWG wire
I compared the Volt gauge with my Fluke Meter, and the volt reading is spot on !!!!

Also I'll be able to use my radar detector with the 12V cig-plug which is a must.

I highly recommend that FZ1 fuse box, but it is a bit expensive ...
but it'll make every thing so much easier, with all other devices, still leaves me 3 other empty slots !

That's it for all, and hugeTHANKS to

Thanks for posting up the detailed pics of your installation! Looks great and that fuze block really makes things very neat and tidy!

Safe riding!
