    F1 light

    Hi all , I have a 2004 bird with 56000 miles, never missed a beat but tonite my f1 light flickered, coughed and splattered and cut out, restarted and continued home, is the diagnostic plug in the rear light cluster under seat ? Thanks

    YES - diagnostic plug is in the tail near the rear light connector.

    Whilst you are there - make sure the ecu connector is secure and that the ecu is properly strapped down.

    There will be no code showing if the Fi light did not stay on.

    Yes in the back by the tail light wiring...green + brown wires. Make surer the ECU is strapped down.
