    RUNNING ISSUE

I have the following issue with my 2006 Fi Blackbird.

When I turn on the ignition the fuel pump starts and wont stop unless l push the high beam handlebar switch.
Also when I start the bike the Fi light comes on. However if l put the handlebar high beam switch on then start the bike the Fi light stays off.
This has got me stumped. Any ideas?

I'd start with switch cleaning. Then check all your grounds. The Birds are getting some age on them. Bad ground paths will start things to go the way your seeing.
