Anyone installed a Gipro Gear Indicator?

It's asking to tap the yellow wire coming out of the ECU but I don't have a yellow wire. Do they just want switched power?

What year is your bike? Not sure if it is different for a carb bike vs FI.
I have had one installed on my 2001 bird for a number of years now. The yellow wire is from the Ignition Pulse Generator. The gear indicator uses the tachometer and speed sensor signal to determine which gear the bike is in.DIAGRAM.pdf

I have a 99 and my connector is red and it is only 2 wires, yellow and white. Splice into the one that is not white.

    Silver
The sense/pulse wire for the speedo is pink with a green tracer. You can tap from either the black plug going into the ECM it should be B17 or you can catch it coming out of the bundle off to the left of the thermostat housing. It's a big black boot the connector will be a 3 pin one will be the pink green, green black and black brown.
