    Lower fairing clip

    Hi all,

new bike owner, old issues. Just discovered that the lower fairing clips are missin (the two directly under the bike - lower cowling(?)). Anyhoo, in the past I've had this same issue but just cable tied them up, but this time I've just ordered the clips. They just plug in? Won't they just fall out again?

My question is, if this commonly happens, do people just keep replacing them or do they have a different solution?

    Cheers

Are you missing the bolts or are the brackets broken off of the oil pan.

The bolts(clips) are missing... nothing broken. The part looks like they look like press in clips - part 25 in this screen grab...

They just plug in and lock the two fairing sides together as they have overlapping holes. Having said that I've also used cable ties in the past when I've run out of fairing pins. Both work equally well.

I've recently switched over to these. They are lower profile and fit a bit tighter.

Auto parts supply store. There is also aftermarket versions of it, I carry a mixed box at the shop I work at.
