Mt. St. Helens (Johnston Ridge) yesterday, kinda chilly. Looking into getting some heated gear soon, grip warmers are nice but the upper body gets a little cold at times.

I hate to admit it but you're correct. I awoke to 1" of snow on the ground here in SE Nevada! Not unusual other than it's early by about a month.

Very nice! I plan to ride as long as possible w/o heated gear. We may be in for another indian summer this year in Gotham. 76 degrees today! And no work, so I was out ridin all day!

    Re: Summer is over

Why not try riding over Steven's Pass this weekend. Hawaii, I'd get "cabin fever" on a small island, in spite of the lovely weather. Happy trails to all you end of the season riders and year round riders.

    Re: Summer is over

If the riding season was to end here in So Cal, I would shoot myself.
In 05 I was up there in Washington but, we rode around Mt Ranier and left Mt St Helens to stew in her own juices.
You guys have some of the most beautiful riding anywhere up there, too bad it is seasonal.

Not seasonal for me, I just have to stay away from the higher elevations in the off season. I still get plenty of riding in
