as soon as spring finally arrives. If the weather is good I can get together Friday night. Weekends are booked until second week of May. Let's see if we can get the other XX's in the area to set a date and meet somewhere.

Hi there, well I think maybe this weekend is out for me, but we can sure try and plan a Saturday or Sunday ride somewhere in May. How does that sound?

This weekend is suppose to snow what's with that?!
We all need to get together sometime. That June Mt Rainier ride sounds fun but I dunno where I'd put all my gear and I really don't want to carry it lol.

Well, since I have posted the question, I have had two responses. I guess there is a fella in Graham that would like to ride with us. I was thinking that as soon as the Weather Clears, possibly a ride on the North Cascades Highway up toward Ross Dam, ever done that route?

Haven't done that one yet but it looks more like a summer ride to me.
Also a long ride north for some mountain riding...

Well, I hear from other folks that the ride to Ross dam is really a great ride to take, so possibly we could give that some consideration?
Also, I did not know this, but I guess Honda has been producing the Blackbird for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008; I guess they don't export them to the United States anymore, don't you find that interesting?

Ya I wish they would have brought the blue one to the US. Now I have all blue gear on a black bike lol. Oh well.
Now I'm putting on some red anodized bolts too lol. Got a pack of engine bolts, oil plug, 2 oblong reservoir caps for $50 I thought it was a pretty good deal even though they're not blue

Honda ceased manufacturing the bird in 07. For some reason (probably financial, maybe emissions) they stopped exporting the bird to the US in 2003, but continued elsewhere in the world.

Actually to be more correct, Honda doesn't export them so much as American Honda decides what models to import. American Honda is the weak link in this particular chain as Corporate Honda had still been producing the bike. Sad really as the European and Australian markets get better color options in models as well. The past couple of years the VFR's and ST's have looked so much better than the options chosen by American Honda, shame really. Whoever is making those decisions isn't really listening to the customer base, IMO.
