Just got my forks back from GP Suspension -- Update!

First off... Thanks Dale for setting up the group buy...  And a double thanks on setting it up when I had the money to spend!!!  Dave went the extra mile to assure me that the setup would be a pronounced improvement and that if the spring was too harsh (they had to fit a 1.0 kg spring for my fat ass) that they would exchange them no question... The forks came back well wrapped and all the old parts were CLEANED sealed in heavy duty plastic! Now if work will give me a chance to finish the other farkles and get the beast back together so I can give it a good test ride... And lest I forget... To Dave and GP Suspension... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you...  Oh, and did I mention the neat sticker on each fork???

I just got back from my shakedown ride after having performed all my winter maintenance... And I was REALLY jonesin' for a ride. Well, all I can say is WOW!!! New wheel bearings, steering head bearings, Diablos (front and rear) and... and... and... the newly rebuild suspenders up front! Dave, if you're reading this... Whoo Hoo... The handling is NIGHT and DAY different from before... I just rode my favorite local loop and the only way to describe the ride is... Taunt, compliant and VERY, VERY planted. The 'Bird damn near handles like my Duc, but is way more comfortable. Again, Dale... Thanks for putting this GB together! And Dave (and the folk at GP)... Thanks for one helluva job on my forks!!!
