I was replacing my bar ends and I think the bar weight has moved closer to the end of the bar. The bar weights seem to be to close to the end of the bar maybe a 1/4 of an inch from the edge. I think from tightening the bar end bolt has acted like a gear puller and pulled the weights from regular position.

Is that possible
How far in should the bar weights sit on the bar.
How can I get the weight to go deeper in to the bar.

This is my first sports bike and never had bar weights in my other bikes.

Thanks for any help

the oem honda bar weights have a gap at their end , unscrew them a little and try to match the gap with the inner profile, then screw again ,this is the normal distance,if too close to grips then check if the grips are instaled properly

I tried that but where the inner bar weight is there is no room for the bar ends to fit inside the bar. I have the notchs lined up but they are sticking out to much. Can the bar weight be moved deeper in?

...the inner part is secured with with a gap that has to be aligned with a hole that exists on the bar...you have to remove the grips to see them..the outer weight bar itself cannot be adjusted....
