Does anyone know the length of the OEM spring spacer on a 99-02 XX

Does anyone know the length of the OEM spring spacer on a 99-02 XX..??

i have a 99 xx abd i understand that the oem spring length and the spring spacer are different than the 97 - 98,,

it looks like the previous owner may have cut mine...
The manual shows the length of the oem spring,, but I need to know the lenght of the OEM SPRING SPACER that rides between the top of the spring and the fork cap...

any help appreciated,,,

another question is when i removed the fork cap i felt no pressure from the spring at all,, ??

is there normally some preload you can feel when u unscrew the fork cap..??

the spring is within the servicable measurements,, is this further evidence that someone cut the spacer...??

anyone that has that lenght of the stock OEM spring spacer info would be greatly appreciated,,,??

Thanks Much,,,
Happy New Year...

Did you try a search? Hanes manuel? I don't know so I can't help here but I ordered 100 mm over, non progressive with 100 mm under spacers as well as pre-load adjusters from Jaws. www.superblackbird.co.uk That mod plus a Penske rear has changed the handling significantly to the good. The info you want is available, someone will chime in. Good luck

I know for sure that the OEM Spacer is 200mm on the 2001.

I have the 100mm longer springs from Jaws and I cut my spacers in half exactly for the new longer springs.
