I Googled the hell out of it. All I found were two distributors and pricing was a bit more than what you guys paid. That's cool though as I decided to go a different direction.

This kit sounds very interesting. I have been leaning towards getting the front springs and the 3D emulsion shock. A few questions for the guys that did this:

1) Why does this kit require raising the rear with a 5mm shim and raising the front 45mm above the top tree?
2) Can't it just be kept to the stock specs, to maintain the stock ride height?
3) With this kit does the rear wheel touch the ground when the bike is on the centerstand?

Thanks in advance.

1. The shim no requirement, but it'll greatly improve the rideability of the bike. Raising the front forks through the clamp, is because these springs are longer, so it'll lift the front if you don't.
2. Yes it can, but you'll loose out on some of the improvements. I guess you are very short to even think about this.....
3. Depending on the tire it could. A Metzeler M-3 is a very high tire, and will probably do this.A Michelin is lower, and has no such problem. But it all depends on your stand. A worn out stand will also be of influence......
