Hello,
I am writing to you guys from germany. Right now I am starting a new project with building a 97 XX up for private dragracing...

I already got many parts to push the horspower up...

Now, I am looking for an extended swingarm? But I absolutly don't know what kind of extension I should use 6" , 8" , 10" or what else???

I am complete confused and need help with that decision????

Any ideas what I should take?

Thanks for your help!! The problem is here in germany it's very hard to find answers on questions like these...

Take care,

You may want to do a search on this site-not too long ago another member Xler8 or something like that was going to be doing the same thing and there were plenty of suggestions which you may be able to benefit as well. Good luck.

Sorry, not this "XLER8".

My suggestion is you probably don't need more than 10".

Also, I'd say put a wheelie bar on.

Use a tire heater before your runs too.

Send some pics of the maiden voyage and God's Literal Speed be with you!

gadgetto, check out "dragbike.com" and "stripbike.com" while you will not find much Blackbird specific info, you will find a wealth of information and helpful contributors. You will find the answer to your swing arm length question with very little seaching.

Mr. Hemi.
