Amazing rides to Grand Canyon, and a ridiculous loop around Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.

Ok I've only had this one since may after a uninsured jerk tried to run over my V65 Sabre then took off. Totaled my baby but she her life to save me. Twisted the frame and forks and I have been looking for a replacement frame they were only built for 2 years and both frames are different from one year to the next.
That sucks, V65 Sabre's were nice bikes.I bought a new V65 Sabre in 84 but it was totaled when I was rear ended by a drunk driver in 86.
There is an 85 V65 Sabre for sale here.
Still have it and the parts from a spare. I have been toying with shoehorning the bigger engine in a extra V45 Sabre frame I have. I have already Modified my sons V45 Sabre to a V65 disc brake rear system. The only hitch is the intake side a little interference but I am hoping an injection system off a friends ST 1100.
Even the jokes here are old.
Still here in Phoenix.
Still here in Gilbert, 01 red xx
commute to the way west side a few days a week
rush hour traffic might change my mind on it though
had 4 near misses in a one hour period on way home yesterday
10E to 60E, a 30 mile commute
the cagers had me dodging, waving, flashing lights, and leaping sideways
I should just sell the XX and get a helicopter
Frank
Heard a similar story from a guy up here at a checker auto parts. He was up here subbing but lives down there and won't ride because he see's snow birds capping bike at about one a week down that way.
Get headlight modulor and keep your head on a swivel and stay out of the kill zones.
