Wow, all really old posts. Anyone still around ?
I'm in Chandler, and as soon as I get my new rotors and pads on I'll be interested in riding.

Anyone around ?

I'm here on the east side of Mesa. 03' bird ready to roll. Anyone have a good line on some decent bar risers? Been looking for a while and can't seem to find just the right ones. Up for a ride anytime.

Madcow
Was the bird your asking about a titanium one if so it was me. Ride the loop in and out every day to work.
Live on the west side and took a spin up to Prescott this weekend with a southwest rider. It was aperfect day and traffic was excellent IE very little. Give me a holler and I would enjoy packing it up with other bird riders.

Aerotech I have a set of Heli's on mine the only thing I did was reverse them to help the angle on my wrists. The word I get was the PO mirrored a set and had an inch added to them. If we get together your welcome to have a look.

Re: AZ Riders POst up

I'm in Southern Utah, 7 miles from the AZ border.

Amazing rides to Grand Canyon, and a ridiculous loop around Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.

Let me know if you head this way.

That sucks, V65 Sabre's were nice bikes.I bought a new V65 Sabre in 84 but it was totaled when I was rear ended by a drunk driver in 86.
There is an 85 V65 Sabre for sale here.

Re: AZ Riders POst up

Still have it and the parts from a spare. I have been toying with shoehorning the bigger engine in a extra V45 Sabre frame I have. I have already Modified my sons V45 Sabre to a V65 disc brake rear system. The only hitch is the intake side a little interference but I am hoping an injection system off a friends ST 1100.

Re: AZ Riders POst up

Still here in Gilbert, 01 red xx

commute to the way west side a few days a week

rush hour traffic might change my mind on it though
had 4 near misses in a one hour period on way home yesterday
10E to 60E, a 30 mile commute
the cagers had me dodging, waving, flashing lights, and leaping sideways

I should just sell the XX and get a helicopter

Frank
Heard a similar story from a guy up here at a checker auto parts. He was up here subbing but lives down there and won't ride because he see's snow birds capping bike at about one a week down that way.
Get headlight modulor and keep your head on a swivel and stay out of the kill zones.
