Texas riders?

Anyone in Texas here? Always looking for riding buddies, and someone to talk routes and rides with.

Re: Texas riders?

Was just telling Mark, I am going to be in your area during december. Will bring the quad. Got it running nice with the turbo city fuel regulator. Much better.

Re: Texas riders?

Excellent! I'll be back in early December, too. Have you ever riden up to Lukenbach during the Christmas break? Good ride, lots of live music and BBQ going on at the post office. It's really cool with all the cruiser guys dressing their bikes up with Christmas stuff.

Re: Texas riders?

Hello Duane and Stan,
Stan, I guess it is the Southwest Research thing? When and how long are you going to be around SA?
Maybe I could make it up there and we could all go for a ride, San Antonio is only a couple hours away from here.
I have shown some people your video Duane, everyone enjoyed it.
Take care,
Mark

Re: Texas riders?

Yeah, I live in April Sound and ride those quite a bit. I know a couple of others that you might like as well. 149, 3090, 105,scenic route 340(?) and you end up in Lake Summerville is one of my personal favorites. We will have to get together and ride sometime. It is nice to someone that is so close.

Well I am going to be up for rides between mid-October and the end of Jan. I get back from Iraq in Oct and head out to my next one year in a crappy little country assignment in Jan. I plan to log alot of cold miles in my time stateside.

Looking for a road trip from D/FW area. I need to stretch the Birds legs and test the comfort level of my recent purchase.
