Yeah it was the older bikes guy. I did some cool back roads monday around Johnson City and Blanco. I've done Camp Wood, Leaky, Utopia, and Concan a few times. Way cool!

    I'm off all next week.

It is probably just a matter of trying to find a "central location" that folks are willing to meet at.

i dont mind a long straight ride, i ridden to Houston a few times. 71 to Austin is cool, but some twisties keep it interesting.

Definitely should have tried in the summer.

    Re: Texas riders?

How many blackbird riders on here live within 100 miles of Houston, I'm 40 miles or so North, close to Conroe. I would like to try and get together for a ride with some fellow riders. There has been some really good days to ride. Some a little cool but not too bad.

    Boys,
We are planning a Hill Country run for May 2011.
Sounds like there are more birds down near austin and SA.
We will stay in Kerrville, then do twisted sisters run, then Enchanted rock next day. Fri thru sun run.
    Ya''ll interested?

    Re: Texas riders?

Sounds good. I'm going to Camp Wood on May 5th for some riding in the area with a small group of guys. Be there for Friday thru Sunday, but am willing to do it twice.

    Re: Texas riders?

I just got back from a ride to Colorado to get away from the heat. 2700 miles since last Tuesday. Rode to Pikes Peak, 29 deg on top and snowing.
