I'm thinkin I'll ride up early Sat morning, hit the vendor displays at the track, maybe ride some sort of demo and proally split before the HD no minds wake up, wouldn't mind trying to make it out to the North Turn for something to eat on the beach, but proally will be a nightmare getting around town at that point...

I blasted past lots of them on the way home yesterday (A1A from St. Aug. to Marineland) - scared the crap out of a few of them, even with my stock pipes. I have the Porsche today so I'll blast them on 4 wheels.
But I cannot knock Hogs...I road them for over 10 years and still love the sounds.

I've seen a bunch of sportbikes on my commutes(I95 Edgewater-Ormond) this week Bob. We'll be out on Main St sometime tonight, look for the silver Bird, if you're out. Rob, I'll try & give ya a call tomorrow about lunch or meeting @ the track, depends on how late we stay out tonight

Mike,
I'm shooting for kickstands up at 9:00 ish tmw, but I'll have the GF with me, so I expect a delay or two... meeting some friends from Jax, proally around the Honda tent, but don't expect them until 11:00 ish. I'll be looking for a helmet for the GF, so if no deals around the vendor tents may run down to Helmet House. We're definitely going to shoot for the North Turn for some lunch on the beach... I've got your cell # and will call you sometime tmw am. I'll be on the Titanium Bird (with GF and fugly Givi's), and I think my one buddy will be on his Bright AZZ Yellow VFR (with GF too), doubt he will bring his RC51 with her on the back... he may also be dragging along a couple of other Jax VFR guys.

Sounds like a great time.
BobZ, Sounds like you have a couple of nice vehicles. So what made you switch from the hogs to the bird? Feel the need?

My first bike was a brand new 1981 Yamaha 650 Special and after a few years I started riding Harleys - sold my Fatboy last December and bought the Blackbird. My back was starting to bother me on the Harleys - too much like sitting in an armchair with no adjustments...the Blackbird is actually a lot more comfortable, and much faster!
Ride safe (and fast).

Same here, and no worries on not hanging, that's cool. We ended up meeting up with the Jax gang at Wiseguys on Main. Sweet location for people watching...
We'll get together for a ride sometime soon...
Rob
