ugh, sorry to hear that. Hopefully it was all insured well and they'll treat you right with helping you get back on a bike in short order.

this just reminded me of a quick story...last Oct. in Ark there was a SV rally at the hotel my group stayed at and we came out in the am some of their group mistook one of our guys bikes for theirs while doing a practical joke and relocated his bike elsewhere in the parking lot, we thought sure it was stolen and we were a long ways from home. But then we spotted it across the way. We made sure to convey our dissaproval to that group and they apologized for the mixup. I can still see my buddy's face going pale when he saw his empty parking slot between our bikes

Snowman I am very sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel because it happened to me with a previous bike. Back in 1991 I had bought a brand new CBR600F2 on a Tuesday from the dealer and rode it home and put it in the garage. When I opened up the garage door Saturday morning the bike was gone. 4 days and only 26 miles!!!!!

Hopefully you had full coverage and will get the monetary value of the bike back.

Snowman, that sucks big time. I've had one bike stolen from in front of my bedroom window. I got it back, but it was never the same.

Do you have VIN or chassis numbers to post up just incase your bike is offered up for sale somewhere.

Man Snowman, that is the worst thing I've heard in awhile. I'm sooo sorry for your loss. I hope the rat fu@#$@ers burn slowly in hell! If you got some pics maybe post those as well, and I'll keep an eye on ebay in case something familiar comes up.

Been there twice, sorry for the pain you're feeling.I keep mine in the garage chained to the floor now. Some bastards will take anything and some will scope your place before they hit,ask the neighbors. We'll keep an eye on E-bay to see what comes up in the Georgia area.

Keep an eye on the local craigslist site and of course ebay. I heard a story today on Fox News that a man's custom painted helmet had been stolen, and guess where it showed up?

ebay. It was 5 blocks from his home. The perp got 20 months in jail for this.

Be on the look out for "salvagers" in your area. Also, shops that repair crashed bikes, and how friendly are you with your neighbors? Never hurts to ask if they saw anything unusual.

Sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry for you, If it any consulation to you the bike will never ever run correctly again. It will allways have a bad turn radius, a bad Idle, bad fuel consumption. bad carma, it needs big daddy to run right. The looser will rape and sell parts or go to gap and miss a turn, the ****er.......
