I just installed my 9500i on a ram mount, hard wired, and it looks too cool. It took one hour. However, today on the freeway I encountered no radar/laser. I'll go searching tomorrow for the local "hot" spots. I can't comment on the K40 but the 9500i is state of the art and gps speed indicator. It'll take me awhile to figure out the "ins and outs" of its use. There is a site that critiques radar etc. Why not a search on radar/laser?

Did your new 9500 work as advertised? ![]() I'm thinking of getting the 8500 plus the Blinder M-25. Not sure if the 9500 is worth the extra coin? |

So far it works as stated. I'm just learning the ins and outs but it has let me know when the Leo is around. I'm heading for N.Cali on Sunday to ride E to West on the great roads I found on the map and on the Pashnit.com site. Is radar ok in California? I was spendy but I think it's a more valuable farkle than gps for me. I've seen bikes loaded up with electronics and omg it seems so cluttered. But that's just me. I recomend going the extra $ for the state of the art. Just me.
