Has anyone tried to make the Givi v35 bags fit the Blackbird? I can't seem to find the mounts anywhere. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

the v35 is a "monokey" bag. so you need the ground plates for the monokey system and the cbr1100xx-carrier.

Somewhere I posted two pics of my bike, no close ups in my albums, of the Givi wingrack. I have it on my puter but as usual I can't seem to attache it here or the short vid of the lighing system in action.

I'll try to find the bits from mine as I have the v35 cases and wingrack fitted to my bird, will let you know the codes when u do

Hi Sticky, Have you had a chance to find any part numbers for the Givi v35 hard bag mounts. I like the look but can only find a mount for a trunk, not sidebags. Thanks, Tony

I posted a weblink on another post earlier with the full wingrack kit that is being sold over here in the UK, it is the Y158 wingrack mounting kit for all 3 cases, the topic thread was y158 / y127 I believe, the 158 kit is the right mounting kit for the bird with the N140 wingrack, which is what I have fitted to mine

If you search on the UK search engines, i.e. Google or Yahoo for the kits you will find them easily, there are lots over here for sale

That is the N140 wingrack CB, the fitting kit is the Y158 from Givi

im buying the givi E55 tech case for my bird and the only way i found to get the mounting bracket is to contact givi for prive then have your local bike shop order it for you
and givi told me the V35 will not fith the hardware for a bird

Really? I looked at the v35 cases in person and there was no way they could fit on the Wing rack on my bike. The backs of the v35 aren't flat in the vertical plane like the older bags...maybe you have e35? Just guessing...

The V35 is the same carcass as the Hondaline case. It needs a tubular mounting rack like THIS one or the OEM system.

Twistedthrottle nor Givi offers a mounting kit allowing the use of the Givi v35 hard cases to be used on the xx. I have contacted both of them and was told unfortunately no kit is currently available.

No but I will. I told them that I wanted to use the v35 bags and was told that they (twistedthrottle) do not have a kit to fit "PLX" cases. ???
