    Parting out 1999

    Here are the parts that I have
    complete engine w/ harness $500
    ECU $200
    Seat Frame $100
    Seat $75
    Complete brake system $300
    Front pegs $50
    Rear Pegs $50
    Center Stand $25
    Stock Cans (have some scratches on bottom) $50
    Penske Rear Shock $250
    Race Tech forks $250
    Brake light assy $25
    Undertail assy (has crack by lic. plate mounting) $50

    I'm open to offers all parts. located in WA.

    Thats interesting .... I wonder ... got a 2001 plate BB here that is in need of much attention and one thing is a dodgy ECM as it feeds no volts out to the FI circuit and is giving full volts out to the rev counter which prevents rev counter from working (they require approx 10.5 and work on variations supplied by ECM). What kind of ignition does the US '99 have?

    It has the same ignition as the 96-98 (euro 99's did have HISS) It should have the same ignition barrel as yours does..

    I do not know if the 99 and the 01 use the same loom though, there may be addition or altered sensors on the 01.

    Hmmm might be a little expensive then as a 'test' ECU .... Even though it's supposed to be a 2001 it has the BARO sensor that was only fitted to '99 and '00 models so am guessing it's really a late registered '00 so the loom should be identical .... in theory .... although no HISS connector, I'll have have to check the various wire diagrams ... it's defo food for thought though
