    About AUD$200.00 for a person and the blackbird, i did it just a couple of weeks ago when I bought the bike back to tassie.

    Tasmania has some sensational riding conditions, lots of tight turns, you could amost go all around the state without going on a major highway. Nah the price on the ferry is one way.

    Is it an overnight trip? I ask b/c from the mainland to Van. Island is ?$150 return I think. I guess there's not to many reasons to spend four bills to trip over to Auz. Glad you have great riding.

    a late reply:From Melbourne to Devenport it takes approx 12 hours it's 400$au return cabin (very nice)+ bike it's a little cheaper if you only take recliner but no shower,meals are not included whatsoever,departure 8 am or 8 pm with Spirit of Tasmania this is such a beautiful place to ride and fish i am looking forward to go back again
