Saw this on the history channel last week. They were doing a special on the F15 and played that whole clip. They were saying how amazing it was to fly with only one wing.

BAH! Although a beautiful plane and the bronze medal winner of the cold war "shoulda, coulda, woulda" sweeps behind the Valkrye and the Arrow, the Hustler is over-rated junk compared to the Eagle. 0 (Zero) combat losses. Ever. Licenced out to a number of different countries with the same result. Will fly not only with just one wing, but also with one engine, one or little to no remaining hydraulic system- and can land on about any smooth surface that exists.

The gun cam and canopy footage from that wreck was pretty interesting. In one part of the clip they showed, you could actually see the flash of the A-4 impacting.
