It's the 2008 Ford Edge (yes we're still a Ford family). This thing is pretty damn nice, 3.5L V6 w\265hp\250ft lb, 6sp automatic, all the Sync\Bluetooth\Sirius Sat. handsfree crap, rated for 27mpg hwy (we'll see how close this is when we take our 2000 mile road trip to DC next week), and it rides like a Cadillac!!!

My wife has the Lincoln version, MKX, and it is nice. The 3.5L V6 kicks ass on regular fuel no less but have never been able to get that mileage as it is hard to keep it under 80mph.
She's happy with it and thats all that matters

Yea Scott, we were bringing it home, cruising down the interstate, & the next thing I knew, I was doing 100mph!

Mike, looks nice. Is it as big as it looks in the photo's or is it actually more of a mid-sized car?

That looks very similar to what we call a Ford Explorer.
Is the wife happy or what?

My brother bought one for his wife and she loves it. He of course drives an 08 450 sel amg or the like. What were the buy incentives? 0 down, 0% financing, no payments for 3 months??? Car sales are suffering and it's a buyers market. I think now is an excellent time to buy a new car.

Thanks guys! It's Ford's new "cross-over suv", smaller than the Explorer, but bigger than her Escape we traded for it...& yes, it's HUGE inside. Incentives were no money down & over $4000 in rebates. They also gave us $5000 for her beat up Escape, which we owned, bringing the $28k sticker price down to $19k, financed thru Ford Motor Credit @ 9%. And the wife LOVES it!

Eventually found the BMW service sucks, in his opinion, but when he told me I didn't believe it. I said the X5 for a Ford Edge?!? But he raves about that now. Nice.

I looked at this vehicle myself. I like the looks. I wasn't sure about the inside room as I own a larger SUV currently. Do you think that you could fit a road bicycle in that vehicle without taking off any of the tires? I use my Durango that I have now mostly as a bicycle transport vehicle. I can fit my road bike in it laying flat without having to remove wheels. When I looked at the edge at the auto show I didn't think that I would be able to do that with the edge. I do like the looks of the vehicle.
